Fully-furnished cribs shall be tested on, and correspondingly conform to the following test requirements: mattress support system vertical impact properties; drop and stationary side (static and cyclic) properties; crib side spindle/slat torque properties; drop and folding side latch properties; and plastic teething rail properties.1.1 This consumer safety specification establishes performance requirements and test procedures to determine the structural integrity of full-size cribs.
