ASTM D1050-05(2022) Standard Specification for Rubber Insulating Line Hose Active 发布日期 :  1970-01-01 实施日期 :

This specification covers acceptance testing of rubber insulating line hose for use as a portable protective device for protection of workers from accidental contact with live electrical conductors. Two types of line hose are provided and are designated as Type I, non-resistant to ozone, and Type II and Type III, resistant to ozone. Five classes of line hose, differing in electrical characteristics, are provided and are designated as Class 0, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, and Class 4. Four styles of line hose, differing in design characteristics, are provided and are designated as Style A, Style B, Style C, and Style D. The line hose shall be constructed in four styles: straight style, connector-end style, extended-lip style, and connectorend extended-lip style. The line hose shall be formed with an interlocking lip of sufficient length to prevent the device from being dislodged accidentally from the conductor it covers. The interlocking lip shall be closely adjacent to the inside surface contour of the outer wall. The depth of adapter end of connector-end style line hose shall be not less than a certain value, and its inside diameter shall be such that it will snugly grip the end of the line hose of the same size which it joins. Each line hose shall conform to the physical requirements such as determined tensile strength, elongation, tension set, tear resistance and moisture absorption.1.1 This specification covers acceptance testing of rubber insulating line hose for use as a portable protective device for protection of workers from accidental contact with live electrical conductors.1.2 Two types of line hose are provided and are designated as Type I, non-resistant to ozone, and Type II and Type III, resistant to ozone.1.3 Five classes of line hose, differing in electrical characteristics, are provided and are designated as Class 0, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, and Class 4.1.4 Four styles of line hose, differing in design characteristics, are provided and are designated as Style A, Style B, Style C, and Style D.1.5 The following precautionary caveat pertains only to the test method portion, Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, of this specification: This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. For specific precautionary statements, see 18.1.1.1.6 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.

ASTM F1546-23 Standard Specification for Fire Hose Nozzles Active 发布日期 :  1970-01-01 实施日期 :

This specification covers the design, manufacture, and testing of fire hose nozzles intended for use with sea water or fresh water either in straight stream or adjustable spray patterns. Marine fire hose nozzles may be classified into four general construction types, as follows: Type I; Type II; Type III; and Type IV. Nozzle types may be subdivided into three general classes, as follows: Class I; Class II; and Class III. Classes may be subdivided into two general sizes. Tensile strength, ultimate elongation, tensile set test, compression set test, accelerated aging test, aging exposure, ultraviolet light-water exposure, discharge calibration test, flow pattern test, flushing test, control tests, corrosion exposure, high temperature test, low temperature test, rough usage test, leakage test, hydrostatic pressure test, operator protection test, and horizontal distance shall be performed to conform with specified requirements.1.1 This specification covers the design, manufacture, and testing of fire hose nozzles intended for use with sea water or fresh water either in straight stream or adjustable spray patterns.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.1.3 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.

4.1 This practice provides guidance on the minimum requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of bunker hose transfer assemblies for cryogenic service pertaining to bunkering of LNG-fueled vessels. The bunker hose transfer assemblies addressed by this practice are for connections between the LNG-fueled vessel bunker manifold presentation flange connections and the LNG supplier bunkering manifold presentation flange connections.1.1 This practice covers the minimum requirements for the design, manufacturing, and deployment of bunker hose transfer assemblies for cryogenic service pertaining to bunkering of liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled vessels. The bunker hose transfer assemblies addressed by this practice are for connections between the LNG-fueled vessel bunker manifold presentation flange connections and the LNG supplier bunkering manifold presentation flange connections.1.2 Transfer assemblies are suitable for use in multiple maritime bunkering applications, including but not limited to facilities, vessels, trucks, and other LNG bunkering supply services. This practice will directly address the hose assembly, dry quick disconnect couplings (DQD), breakaway couplings, gaskets, insulating flange, strainers, and associated fittings.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, to ensure conformance with the standard, each system shall be used independently of the other, and values from the two systems shall not be combined.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.1.5 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.

15.1 For purposes of determining compliance with the specified limits for requirements of the properties listed in the following table, and for dimensional tolerances, an observed value or a calculated value shall be rounded as indicated in accordance with the rounding method of Practice E29:Property % Rounded Unit for Observed orCalculated Value  Chemical composition nearest unit in the last right hand place of figures of the specified limit  Grain size nearest multiple of 0.005 mmAbstractThis specification covers welded copper-nickel alloy pipes produced from Copper Alloy UNS Nos. C70600 and C71500 for general engineering applications. Pipes may be produced in any one of the following tempers: as-welded from annealed sheets, strips, or plates (WM50); as-welded from cold-worked sheets, strips, or plates (WM00, WM01, WM02, and so forth); welded and annealed (WO50); welded, light cold drawn (WR00) or hard cold drawn (WR04), and stress relieved; or fully finished as annealed, light drawn (WH00) or hard drawn (WH04), and stress relieved. Products shall be sampled and prepared, then tested accordingly to examine their conformance to dimensional (outside diameter, specific and stock lengths, wall thickness, squareness of cut, and roundness), mechanical (tensile and yield strengths, and elongation), and chemical composition requirements. Specimens shall also undergo nondestructive tests such as radiographic examination, eddy-current test, and hydrostatic test.1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for annealed copper-alloy strip for the manufacture of flexible metal hose produced from Copper Alloy UNS Nos.
