Information technology - Document description and processing languages - DSSSL library for complex compositions Amendment 2: Extensions to multilingual compositions (South-East Asian compositions) This is the second amendment to ISO/IEC TR 19758:2003 and ISO/IEC TR 19758:2003 provides a DSSSL (ISO/IEC 10179:1996) library that makes it feasible to describe DSSSL specification for documents described by SGML (ISO 8879:1986) or XML (Extensible Markup Language). The library can deal with some complex compositions programmed by a number of complicated DSSSL specification statements. Those compositions consist of the formatting objects: paper size, paper placement, unit, basic composition style, font, character size, headline, page number, note, inline note, emphasizing mark, superscript/subscript, word-length adjustment, character space adjustment, clause, list, table, heading, ruby, paragraph indentation, score, rule, and inline. The DSSSL library contains the simple parameter data and the four files: ?full parameter generator; ?function set; ?page model set; ?flow object construction rules. Their actual data are specified in ISO/IEC TR 19758:2003.

This Technical Report provides guidance for biometric system design and procurement to handle the range of accessibility and usability issues. This report will build upon the generic guidance in ISO/IEC/TR 24714-1, Information technology ?Biometrics ?Jurisdictional and societal considerations for commercial applications ?Part 1: General guidance. The biometric modalities addressed in this technical report include those described in the ISO/IEC 19794,(All parts), Information Technology ?Biometric data interchange formats:?Finger?Face?Iris?Signature?Vascular?Hand-geometry?Voice.
This Technical Report provides recommended best practices and processes for automated border control systems using biometrics to verify an identity claim by a traveller that uses an ePassport or equivalent identity card as the basis for the claim. It indicates areas that organisations proposing to use biometric technologies will need to address during design, deployment, and operation. Much of the information is generic to all types of applications especially around signage; however, some information will be specific to the modality of biometric technology used and how that technology is physically implemented.
This standard provides a physical specification with similar electronic characteristics to Proximity Integrated Circuit Cards (PICCs), such as those specified within ISO/IEC 14443-2 and 3. The physical card thickness (finished card body) formats, are defined within this specification and may also have references to both ISO/IEC 7810:2012 (ID1-Identification cards), INCITS 440 (Card Life Cycle), and ISO/IEC 15457 for thin flexible cards and other thickness dimensions as called out in this standard. Construction attributes, pertaining to the materials, functionality, and environmental requirements and the targeted use of these cards are also specified. This type of PICC is to be classified as a Limited Use - Proximity Integrated Circuit Card (LU-PICC).
