This standard is applicable to passenger lifts and goods lifts, with traction drive at rated speed not exceeding 6.0 m/s or positive drive at rated speed not exceeding 0.63 m/s, or hydraulic lifts at rated speed not exceeding 1.0 m/s.This standard may be taken as a reference for traction drive passenger lifts and goods lifts at rated speed exceeding 6.0 m/s.
This standard is not applicable to service lifts.
