1.1 This specification covers steel sheet in coils and cut lengths that are zinc-coated by electro-deposition.1.2 The electrolytic zinc-coated sheet covered by this specification is produced with a light (thin) coating mass. The coating designations and coating masses are listed in Table 1.1.3 This product is intended for the manufacture of formed or miscellaneous parts; the zinc coating is used to provide some enhancement in corrosion performance as compared to an uncoated sheet.
