This specification covers resilient stair treads made of rubber and thermoplastic vinyl for interior use. Treads covered by this specification includes the following types, class, and groups: Type TS, Type TP, Type TV, Class 1, Class 2, Group 1, and Group 2. The material requirements for the tread surface design, nosing style, and color are specified. Some typical nosing styles are illustrated. Treads shall meet the specified performance requirements for: (1) hardness, (2) molded stair tread bonding surface, (3) tread backs, (4) resistance to chemicals for short-term exposure, (5) resistance to heat, and (6) resistance to light. The prescribed dimensional requirements includes tread thickness, length, and depth. The sampling methods for the physical property tests are specified.1.1 This specification covers resilient treads made of rubber and vinyl for interior use.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.1.4 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.

ASTM F1861-21 Standard Specification for Resilient Wall Base Active 发布日期 :  实施日期 :

This specification covers resilient wall base. These products are manufactured from rubber or thermoplastic materials, or a combination thereof. Wall base is used to provide a functional, as well as decorative border, between walls and floors. This specification does not include rigid products. Wall base shall be of the following types, as specified: type TS - rubber, vulcanized thermoset, type TP - rubber, thermoplastic, and type TV - vinyl, thermoplastic. Wall base shall be one of the following groups, as specified: group 1 - solid, and group 2 - layered. Wall base shall be of the following styles as specified: style A - straight, style B - cove, style C - butt-to, style D - sculptured. The wear layer thickness, flexibility, adjacent surface straining induced by wall base, light resistance, chemical resistance, dimensional stability, height, thickness, and length shall be tested to meet the requirements prescribed.1.1 This specification covers resilient wall base. These products are manufactured from rubber or thermoplastic materials, or a combination thereof. Wall base is used to provide a functional, as well as decorative border, between walls and floors. This specification does not include rigid products.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.1.3 The following safety caveat pertains to the test methods portion, Section 12, of this specification: This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.

3.1 This test method measures physical properties associated with resilient floor tile's ability to conform to an uneven subfloor without breaking or cracking.1.1 This test method is used to determine the deflection of relatively rigid resilient floor tile such as vinyl composition tile and resilient flooring with a rigid polymeric core.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. This specification covers critical characteristics of low velocity resilient material projectiles made from a resilient material. Material diameter, shape, projectile hardness, and weight shall conform to the dimensions indicated in this specification. This specification establishes minimum warning information, instructions, and package labeling for safety.1.1 This specification covers critical characteristics of low velocity resilient material projectiles (herein referred to as LVRM projectiles) made of a resilient material, and shall have a diameter no smaller than 20 mm (0.7874 in.) and no greater than 30 mm (1.18 in.), with a hardness no greater than 75 Shore 00 in accordance with Specification D2240. This specification helps define whether a projectile is suitable for use with a low velocity projectile marker (herein referred to as LVP marker as defined in Specification F2574). The weight of the LVRM projectile is not to exceed 4.0 g. Furthermore, this specification establishes minimum warning and package labeling to help ensure that the LVRM projectiles are used in a safe manner and that the risk of injury is reduced.1.2 A LVRM projectile is not a paintball as defined in Section 2.1.2 of Specification F1979.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.1.5 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
