This document does not address civil and structural details of… read more hydroelectric power plants unless required for the understanding of certain control and monitoring functions. Also excluded is a detailed discussion of protective relaying systems, high-voltage switchyards, and navigation and flood control facilities associated with a hydroelectric power plant.
