This specification covers synthetic amyl alcohol. The properties of amyl alcohol shall be determined in accordance with the following test methods: apparent specific gravity; color; distillation range; water; and acidity.1.1 This specification covers synthetic amyl alcohol.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
