    This American National Standard specifies the additional energy management requirements of the Superior Energy Performance (SEP) Program that go beyond the requirements of ISO 50001 and that are necessary for SEP certification. This Standard only applies to the SEP 2017 Program. It does not apply to the SEP 2012 Program.
