SSA-S2P is a mapping of the existing SCSI-2 protocol, described in American National Standard for Information Systems - Small Computer Systems Interface-2 (SCSI-2), ANSI X3.131-1994 (R1999), with extensions to map SCSI-2 to the SSA serial link.
