This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods of blocks for penetrant testing (or penetrant testing blocks).
This standard is applicable to type testing and Exfactory inspection of penetrant testing blocks.This standard may also be used as the acceptance criteria for in client orders.
NOTE The penetrant testing blocks applicable to this standard do not include Type 1 and Type 2 blocks in GB/T 18851.3.
