This standard specifies the terms and definitions and the structural elements for straight bevel gear forging (hereinafter to be referred as “hot forging”) with tooth formed by precision hot forging process, and specifies the optimum structure of hot forging.
This standard is applicable to straight bevel gear forging with tooth formed by precision hot forging process (mass ≤ 20 kg, transverse module ≤20 mm, tooth diameter ≤250 mm).
