This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model designation methods, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, operation instructions preparation requirements and fire extinguishing agent filling requirements of gas fire extinguishing systems and components.
This standard applies to heptafluoropropane (HFC227ea) fire extinguishing system, trifluoromethane (HFC23) fire extinguishing system and inert gas fire extinguishing system [including: IG-01 (argon) fire extinguishing system, IG-100 (nitrogen) fire extinguishing system, IG-55 (argon and nitrogen) fire extinguishing system, IG-541 (argon, nitrogen and carbon dioxide) fire extinguishing system].
