This part of GB/T 34474 specifies the method for determination of banded structure (including ferrite banding and class Ⅱ structure banding) of hypoeutectoid steels based on comparison procedure.
This part is applicable to the determination of banded structure of wrought hypoeutectoid steels.Carbide banding of hypereutectoid steels is not within the scope of this document.
