This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package, transportation and storage of leather sandals with upper made from natural leather, artificial materials, textiles or multiple materials, manufactured by processes of cementing, sewing, moulding, vulcanizing, injecting, etc.
This standard is applicable to leather sandals (including sandal-boots) for adults, and not applicable to leather sandals (including sandalboots) for infants and children.Sandals with upper made from other materials and manufactured by the equivalent processes may also refer to the provisions of this standard.
