This standard specifies the technical requirements,test methods,inspection rules,sign,packaging,transport and storage of analogue quartz clocks(hereinafter referred to as “the quartz clock”).
This standard is applicable to the quartz clock with a crystal frequency of 32 768 Hz and a nominal working voltage of DC 1.50 V.Quartz clock movements and time-measuring devices with such movements may also refer to it.This standard is not applicable to the quartz clock for special purposes like those for aircraft,ships and cars.
