适用范围：

This part of GB/T 24369 gives guidelines for the characterization of gold nanorods (GNRs) using optical absorption spectroscopy.The aim of this document is to provide an analytical tool to determine the mean aspect ratio and concentration of GNRs.
The calculation of mean aspect ratio in this standard is applicable to the cylindrical GNRs with mean aspect ratios between 2 to 5 and rod diameters smaller than 30 nm.
This standard is also referred to the characterizations of other noble metal nanostructures using UV-Vis-NIR absorption spectrophotometry.
