5.1 Data obtained from the procedure of this test method are indicative of the relative abrasiveness of fabric or carpet type synthetic playing surfaces.1.1 This test method is applicable to both laboratory and field measurement of synthetic turf surfaces used for sports.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
