ISO/IEC TS 20071-11:2012 applies to all static images that are used in any type of electronic document. It also applies to individual images within a slide show of electronic images. ISO/IEC TS 20071-11:2012 does not apply to moving images (e.g. movies). The guidance contained in ISO/IEC TS 20071-11:2012 is intended to be used by the person who creates content to be placed in an electronic document. There is no expectation that this person will have any additional expertise beyond understanding the contents of the document and why an image was chosen to be placed within the document. While the main intent of the guidance within ISO/IEC TS 20071-11:2012 is the creation of text alternatives, the information identified in this guidance could be placed in the main document text, reducing the length of the resulting text alternatives. However, placing information in the main document text does not fully replace the function of having some text alternatives for each image.

ISO/IEC 29112 defines methods for the objective measurement of the print quality characteristics that contribute to the perceived resolution of reflection mode monochrome printed pages produced by digital electro-photographic printers. The measurement methods used in ISO/IEC 29112 are derived from several existing techniques for the assessment of an imaging system's resolution characteristics. Each of these measurement methods is intended for the engineering evaluation of a printing system's perceived resolution and not for purposes of advertising claims. The methods are applicable only to monochrome prints produced in reflection mode by electro-photographic printing technology. ISO/IEC 29112 is intended for monochrome printers utilizing postscript interpreters capable of accepting postscript and encapsulated postscript (EPS) jobs.

ISO/TS 19130-2:2014 supports exploitation of remotely sensed images. It specifies the sensor models and metadata for geopositioning images remotely sensed by Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), LIght Detection And Ranging (lidar), and SOund Navigation And Ranging (sonar) sensors. The specification also defines the metadata needed for the aerial triangulation of airborne and spaceborne images. ISO/TS 19130-2:2014 specifies the detailed information that shall be provided for a sensor description of SAR, InSAR, lidar, and sonar sensors with the associated physical and geometric information necessary to rigorously construct a physical sensor model. For the case where precise geoposition information is needed, this Technical Specification identifies the mathematical formulae for rigorously constructing physical sensor models that relate two-dimensional image space to three-dimensional ground space and the calculation of the associated propagated error. ISO/TS 19130-2:2014 does not specify either how users derive geoposition data or the format or content of the data the users generate.

ISO/TS 19159-1:2014 defines the calibration and validation of airborne and spaceborne remote sensing imagery sensors. The term "calibration" refers to geometry, radiometry, and spectral, and includes the instrument calibration in a laboratory as well as in situ calibration methods. The validation methods address validation of the calibration information.

Defines XML based encoding rules for conceptual schemas specifying types that describe geographic resources. The encoding rules support the UML profile as used in the UML models commonly used in the standards developed by ISO/TC 211. The encoding rules use XML schema for the output data structure schema.

Provides guidance for developers and designers creating and/or using icons and provides a basis for the standardization of icons. It also provides a framework for creating future International Standards dealing with icons as parts of the ISO/IEC 11581 series and for identifying icon-related information to be used in any accompanying icon registries. It is intended to be used with ISO/IEC 11581-40 to create a registry of icons.

ISO/IEC TS 25011:2017 is applicable to IT services that support the needs of an individual user or a business. IT services can be delivered personally or remotely by people, or by an IT application that could be in a local or remote location (see Annex A). These include two types of IT services: (a) services completely automated provided by an IT system; (b) services provided by a human using an IT system.

Defines a process reference model for the domain of service management. The model specifies a process architecture for the domain and comprises a set of processes. Each process is described in terms of process purpose and outcomes. The process reference model in this document is directed at assessment sponsors and competent assessors who wish to select a model, and associated documented process method, for assessment (for either capability determination or process improvement).
