This standard specifies terms and definitions, principle, apparatus, specimen, procedure, evaluation of test result and test report for the steel wire ropes slings-fatigue testing method.
This standard is applicable to evaluate the fatigue properties of all kinds of steel wire ropes slings by axial force-controlled method with same amplitude stress, it may be also applicable to evaluate the axial fatigue properties of the steel wire ropes.
